Finally got operated for my slip disc on 26th Sept @ Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. The surgery was conducted by Dr Ramani and it was a longish 3hrs+ types!
I was very nervous about the general anesthesia bit....but I did not even realize when I went Blank whilst discussing Telecom with the anaesthetist! the next was a wake up call " Mr. Rahi, ur surgery is over" :)
well, 6 days over, and i am feeling much better.... the pains are almost gone but the weakness remains.... as per the dioc the rehabilitation time is 4 to 8 weeks for the nerves and muscles to get back to shaape.

Got to learn some interesting aspect of the medicine profession in Mumbai pre surgery....... scary to say the least!
